CFD
3D CFD simulation is a powerful instrument that includes a broad range of applications, such as:
- Valve flow analysis
- In-cylinder charge motion analysis
- Combustion simulation
- Catalyst flow analysis
- Intake / exhaust / EGR system modeling
- Heat transfer analysis

Testing
Our testing facilities include a complete set of appliances for engine data collection, namely:
- Dynamometric rigs (eddy current type) for automotive internal combustion engines, under steady state operating conditions, including raw exhaust gas analyzers (NDIR, FID, CLD), AVL 415 smokemeter for particulate emissions evaluation, high speed data acquisition systems for in-cylinder and injection pressure measurements.
- Transient dynamometer test bench (AVL APA type) with test bench automation system AVL PUMA Open 2, Concerto 5, Cameo 4 and Indicom 2.8, mini dilution tunnel for the analysis of particulate emissions.
- CFR engine for fuel octane rating.
